A small specialty coffee bar on Kaleju iela
We are a one-room coffee bar in Riga old town: a single espresso machine, a filter brew bar and a few seats by the window. Everything is made to order, and whoever pulls your shot is usually the person who chose the beans.

Our story
One room, one espresso machine, a very short list of drinks
Amber Coffee is a small specialty coffee bar in Riga old town. We keep the menu short on purpose: a handful of espresso drinks, a filter brew of the week, two teas and something cold. Nothing is batched in advance — every cup is made at the bar while you wait.
The beans change through the year. We buy in small amounts from roasters we can call by name, taste every delivery on the bar before it goes on the menu, and write what is brewing on the board by the door. If a coffee is not good enough to serve to a regular, it does not get poured.

The people who pull your coffee
There are four of us behind the bar at Amber Coffee, and on most days two are on shift. We grind, dial in and pour everything ourselves, so the person who takes your order is the person who makes your cup — ask them what is on the brew bar today.

Opened the shop on Kaleju iela and still dials in the espresso every morning. Buys the beans and tastes every delivery on the bar.
